The bars we set

The bars we set,
For the expectations not met.

Is too high for the little we do,
Whenever the sky is blue.

Prides like chickens,
Willing to slice jugulars for the pecking.

But we have to remember,
We're not fighting for the ember.
It's just worms we're after.

Ember, is what I think we both have,
It's rough to not let it starve.

So provide what you do with all your drama,
But repeat yourself less and we'll conclude much calmer.

Conclusions are necessary and I'm driven for them,
Unlike you who's defensive martial art is repetition.

To state the obvious is sometimes necessary,
So in your next argument don't hold the above or below against me.

You're a treat as you are and I intend to keep you,
Keep you having memories of how to be treated even when my world is against you.

But as much as I let you under my skin,
I expect you to know for the win,

That tearing it is nothing I like,
and it drives me down a Rocky Hill,
much like my bike.

Anger makes you do things you regret,
It's the comes to the aggressive as well as the calmest,

So if I tell you my triggers I expect you not to push,
If you do then I will be reserved as if I'm on the dankest of kush.

If you want a wife beater find yourself another,
It's fulfilling for some mother fuckers.

Realize you have one like no other,
And keep your nails for the ones who try to steal what you're after.

What you're after is(I hope) a life with me.
My wandering heart I cage for thee.

But I feel like I need to get out,
Who knows what will sprout.

I'll continue being honest.
Just take me seriously even when I'm modest.

Now that I've written in my passive aggressive state of mind,
If you pick a fight now it won't be divine.

Divine, is what I'm after,
You're miles from it but it's something I can believe is possible by your father's daughter.

Don't ask me questions now,
Just tell me how you felt and let's play pubg while my dogs go bow-wow.
