What's there to know about depression?
Today, a part of the human condition,

The way it ceases your appetite,
makes you light.

The way it hurts the stomach instead,
like inside your chest hooked is a bag of lead.

The way (at night) it keeps you up,
half alive, thriving, growing-up.

The way (in your veins) it courses,
destroying your positive forces.

The way (in your mind) it darkens,
necessary visions.

The way (in your heart) it plays foul,
without even a single growl.

The way it adds to a number,
we all ignore. Outnumber.

Outnumbered. We are predestined,
to die. Lone. Alone, and…
