To go see photos she wanted,
I in my space sorted.

Didn't want to step out and be social,
Thoroughly satisfied being Erangles local.

What I did today or rather I didn't,
Is take a step back towards what I shouldn't.

Probably an outing with you would've helped,
But I feel okay now, even though I haven't been fed.

Shifting moods and wishes denied,
Isn't what I expect our relationship to subside.

I'm sorry for making your wish untrue,
It makes my heart go boohoo boohoo.

If you want to see photos I'll take you for a trip,
Down memory lane, that's for what I'm equipped.

But making memories I deny nowadays,
How cruel, how sad, my isolation days.

Will I ever change or is this how my mother put it?
Wise words in a young me sounded lit.
