||life now is a big small BBQ.||

||life now is a big-small BBQ||

we wait out while on a big long skewer
as the ember shifts color from ruby red to sapphire bluer

anticipating the heat, to cook our meat,
we're salted, seasoned and made delicious to eat

then the embers de-saturate,
our anticipations escalate

we're put on the grill,
the fires gone but it's hard to chill.

who knew white coal could be oh so hot,
its perfect for the roast and hurts quite a lot.

out rumps roast as to the skewer we cling,
out skin tightens as embers bling.

we are turned slowly as one side gets cooked,
making sure by God himself, we don't get over looked.

our skins wrinkle and our bodies stiffen,
as the out is released reinforcing our ambition.

the roast goes on for a while, for now that's all i know.
clinging to the skewer and enjoying the show.
