I miss you dearly

Once upon a time there was a present,
An absence of adequacy and then lament.

Now there's an absence.
Without any substitute causing my heart out of balance.

Never though ‘I miss you' would have no consequence,
Didn't imagine a horror like that due to your prior providence.

A tumble on a rocky road landing face first,
Doesn't compare to our relationship being about only your lust.

Your pursuits with me I have honoured,
With loyalty until I was cornered.

Forgive me for being an indecisive fool,
For making you cry and others drool.

Now I feel nothing, I do nothing,
Emotions and confusion out my seams bursting.

I stand by hurting myself being my mistake,
Cause hurting you I would never; asleep or awake.

Be my friend in your capacity,
I will shut up and take all, cause I miss you, I miss you, I miss you dearly.

For your absence I do not deserve,
Because my love for you has never taken a curve.
