Marriage. 7Jan2021.

Sometimes I wonder if I got it all wrong,
Respect, honour and this humane song.

Where we meet and greet each other just fine.
But later slice and dice with words less divine.

Eve I blame for men's transgressions.
For not approving of their rightful jurisdictions.

For taking their chances with ones that didn't deserve it,
Creating the imbalance perhaps for the sex to seem lit.

What is it about marriage that seems so boring?
Makes people (with words) resort to stabbing and scarring.

Is one person not enough, to share conversation meant to cut?
(Wait, hang on, why am I not using a BW LUT?)

To study the inner scantoms of another's mind.
To spark, enflame and cause the greatest emotion love-sublime.
