I couldn’t feel thirst

I couldn’t feel thirst, I couldn’t feel hunger,
I was left with aching parts and no slumber.

It felt like someone had placed a hex,
I knew it couldn’t be you, would rather die than call you an ex.

It’s crazy how the brain makes do,
Of an imagination so wild when presence is due.

Fooled myself into sleep and eating,
But failed to dictate new meets and greeting.

Incomplete a human I grew,
Everyday I’ve very little to look forward to.

Plans I flow with when they’re with the wind,
Mostly in vain bad friends are my sin.

Turning around I try now a days.
To mould the almost hardened clay.

I worked so hard to be all automatic,
To say what I wanna say hoping to find addicts.

Cause that’s what the winds have shown me,
Everybody's high on the other or something.
